cervical mucus wet and stretchy plus i missed my period. what is going on?

Change: As women get older, some of their cycles may be longer and some shorter. In longer cycles, you will miss your period and at the same time you will see clear stretchy mucus. You will probably get your period 10 to 14 days later. so, be cautious you may be fertile at this time. Use protection if you do not want to get pregnant.

Probably: Pre-ovulation cervical mucus should be clear with a slippery texture and stretchy in nature. It should not have much coloration.
