A member asked:

Does atrial septal defects always have noticeable symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: It depends on the size of the ASD and the age of the patient. A large ASD in a 12 year old could certainly lead to decreased exercise tolerance for example. If its you kokii1 (age 30) i would say certainly if it is large enough.
