Diverticulosis: This sounds like diverticulosis. This is pouches of the internal colon mucosa that protrude through weak spots on the colon wall. Avoid foods like 'nuts and seeds'. Drink plenty of water. Eat lots of fiber and take a fiber supplement. These can becomes inflamed (diverticulitis) and require antibiotics, they can bleed, and even cause perforations of the colon.
