Have it evaluated: For some people, touching the plants can result in allergic contact dermatitis, an inflammation of the skin. For others, eating zucchini can cause oral allergy syndrome (oas), an irritation of the lips, tongue, mouth or throat. Contact your doctor and get their advice and have it treated appropriately.

Food allergy: See doctor to see if it is a food allergy or not. For now do not eat zucchini.
