Decreased pain: Often after a plantar wart is treated by your doctor the pain will start to subside. But your doctor will often need to pare/debride the wart to see if good skin is visible.

No pain: Usually plantar warts are painful. If pain is resolving, then chances are so is wart. If not certain, let your pcp, dermatologist or podiatrist look at it.
