Yes: It is possible to develop hives to febreeze or any fragranced air freshener. Fragrance is a very common irritant to skin and it is possible to develop an allergy to anything at anytime. If you google "febreeze causing hives" you will find that numerous people have reported this. Discontinue use of febreeze and see your dermatologist if hives persist.
