Depends?: Urine can turn brown when you eat a lot of fava beans, rhubarb or aloe. It could also mean that you have kidney or liver problems. If you haven't eaten those substances, and you aren't on any special medication (that could also cause urine to turn that color e.g. Senna, metronidazole, nitrofurantoin), then see your doctor for a check up.

Cholestasis?: Cholestasis gravidarum, gallstones, jaundice, dehydration, UTI and medication/food exposures could explain this finding. Please see your obstetrician asap for a thorough evaluation and management as this can be a serious finding.
