Keep a calendar: The day you start your period is day number one. Number your calendar from that day. Try to have intercourse on about days 12, 14 and 16. This will mean that their is always sperm in your reproductive tract when you ovulate because sperm can live for several days in that environment. The exact day of ovulation can vary from person to person. Good luck.

Well: You ovulate 14 days before your period starts so how long is is from the start of one period to the other? If it is 28 days then you ovulate 14 days after the 1st day of your period and your egg is good for about 3 days. If your period is every 35 days count 14 days before and that is your ovulation day.
