My alkaline phosphatase was low. it was a 39. is this bad?

No: An isolated lab abnormality, low or high, is probably not of concern. The bell curve of standard deviations tells us that 2% of the population will have lab values higher the "normal, "and 2% will have lower. If you alk phos is an isolated finding i would not be concerned. Good luck.

No: It is only bad if it is elevated! so you do not need to worry about a low value as it has no medical significance.
