Hypertension Rx: Olive leaf contains active flavonoids, bitter terpenoids and glycosides. 400 mg q.I.D. In a french study was not successful. In a rat model, salt-sensitive hypertension responded well.

Haven't heard of any: New extracts, often with similar health claims (anti-oxidant, anti-aging, anti-stretch marks, anti-biotic, etc...), show up on the market every day. Marketing material usually refer to some non-scientific science that leads to some wonderful testimonials from people. There may or may not be anything good about olive leaf extract.
