Probably nothing: A woman's cycling is usually fairly fixed. Variations occur in many women from up to 10 days. More likely, you had what is known as mid cycle spotting. Assuming you are not on the pill, any stressor can influence the cascade of signals in your brain that ultimately tell your ovaries to produce hormones or ovulate. Keep track of all bleeding on a calendar that you and your doctor can review.
