Not sure ?: Generally women have increased vaginal discharge around the time of ovulation. That usually lasts a few days and then goes away. Sometime women can get yeast overgrowth just before menses, and that could cause increased discharge before your period. As long as you are not symptomatic, it is not dangerous and you do not need to treat it.

Vaginal D/C.: Vaginal discharge. There can he normal vaginal discharge (often clear to white) that changes in consistancy and amount through out cycle (without malodor). That may not stop with menses.
