You started it: EMS systems have protocols that require that they transfer a patient to an evaluation capable center when someone initiates their service.They also have a tremendous liability exposure if they accept the ramblings of an impaired patient.If you don't want to go, don't initiate or allow anyone to call for their service so you can accept all the consequences of your decision.
