An Enlarged Area: The most common cause for an enlargement or boil on the external genitalia of a women would not be an std but an infected cyst. These Bartholin's gland cysts can grow to be quite large and painful and they may drain foul pus spontaneously. See your gyn for evaluation and possible drainage.
