It can be: It can be normal to have an extended bleed like this. Most periods are completed by 7 days, if your period lasted longer than this only once, likely no worries. If it continues you may want to see your doctor about possible testing to make sure no fibroid, polyp, or hormone imbalance including thyroid and pituitary.
