Vomiting migraines: The GI system and brain are uniquely linked. Often times people with migraines have an autonomic response to their headaches which causes vomiting. The vomiting can continue as long as the headaches do and can make it hard to digest meds which may help.. There are several injectable abortive migraine meds which can be helpful and your physician may prescribe an anti-nausea med. May need IV fluids.
