A member asked:

What does an alt of 60 mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Refernce Values: Your alt value should be based on the reference values provided by the laboratory that performed the test. Slightly elevated means passive congestion, normal to high means a tumor or space occupying lesion within the liver and high means liver failure. This should be correlated with the other liver enzyme test results.
