A bit longer...: ...Than it normally takes after you shave, since depilatories take out the entire hair shaft, not just the portion that has grown above the skin surface. Be careful using depilatories on the face, though; most are pretty harsh, and can cause a significant irritant dermatitis if you have sensitive skin.
