Atrophic vaginitis: Please don't hate me but one sign of menopause is vaginal dryness due to loss of estrogen. Itching can be due to dryness or a yeast infection (especially if you also have white cottage cheese like discharge). Non-hormonal solution to dryness is a water-based lubricant, useful during sex, too. If that's not enough, your doc can discuss vaginal estrogen options. If hot flashes, etc, maybe oral estro.
