Can: The presence of blood in the vagina can encourage the growth of gardnerella vaginalis, a common bacteria in the vagina. When that bacteria overgrows it frequently causes a fishy odor (called bacterial vaginosis or bv). See your doctor to get the bleeding straightened out and to treat the bacterial overgrowth.
