Frequent, continued: Non-emergency use is not recommended and one reason is that it can cause changes in the thickness of the mucous in the uterus that can make it more difficult for an egg to attach and grow. Twice, especially over a span of time is probably not too much - but don't use it as birth control. It is for emergencies only. Talk with your doctor for more detail. Good luck.
