Doesn't treat infxn: Vagisil has several different products, but it contains benzacaine, a topical anesthetic. Some people are allergic to benzacaine.There is also a serious medical adverse reaction called methemoglobinemia in which some people's blood reacts and the lips, skin, or fingernails turn blue/gray. In addition, it doesn't treat any vaginal infections, and may cause burning in some people.I suggest avoiding.
