You Shouldn't: While sulindac is similar to several medications which are appropriate for a toothache, it is not designed for that type of pain. Sulindac is designed primarily to treat arthritis pain & other types of joint & bone pain...Not dental pain. Ibuprofen usually works much better for teeth. However, tooth pain is not normal & you shouldn't be self-medicating. See a dentist to get the right treatment.

See a dentist: You should see a dentist and get your toothache treated properly. You should not treat yourself with medications that are not intended for toothaches, it will not, help and can have undesirable side effects. Call a dentist asap. In the mean time it is better to, take ibuprophen for pain. An ice pack will also help.

Great choice: It will help relieve the pain and help to reduce the swelling. It will not however treat the cause of the toothache. If your toothache persists you you should see a dentist.
