See a dentist: You should see a dentist and get your toothache treated properly. You should not treat yourself with medications that are not intended for toothaches, it will not, help and can have undesirable side effects. Call a dentist asap. In the mean time it is better to, take ibuprophen for pain. An ice pack will also help.

Great choice: It will help relieve the pain and help to reduce the swelling. It will not however treat the cause of the toothache. If your toothache persists you you should see a dentist.
