Usually not too bad: Thrush is oral candidiasis (fungus) and most of the time it is sore/uncomfortable. In severe cases symptoms can be severe because of excessive inflammation (mucositis). Predisposing factors: recent antibiotics and/or steroid uses--common with asthma/copd inhalers etc, .Also, immunosuppressive states such as cancer/chemom, HIV etc.. Usually easily treated in 7-10 days. Consult your doc... Good luck.
