Skin is Barrier: Your skin is a good barrier. You cannot get chlamydia or gonorrhea on your skin. Viral infections, such as herpes, are not passed this way. I would say absolutely not.

No: Sti transmission would require direct contact from one person to another person. You cannot get a sexually transmitted infection from pool water. You could get a common skin infection from not washing your hands and inserting them into your vagina, so good hygiene is important for that reason.
