Allergy testing.: It's better and wise to get him tested for all possible food especially nuts allergies. Allergy testing is quite reliable when it comes to declaring allergy life long or possibility that child may outgrow. There are grades of allergy based on that test. Persistent grade 6 is usually life long.

Plan On It: They could be. Even though he has not had wheezing, it could develop as he gets older. Stay away from the nuts and talk to your doctor about giving him an epi-pen in case of a breathing related emergency related to the allergy.
