Depends: It will depend where you have it done. Charges are greater at a hospital based imaging center than they are in a free standing center. Where you live determines costs. It depends on your insurance , if you have it. Copays and out of pocket expenses vary significantly. It could be a few hundred to over a thousand dollars.

Ask your hospital: At our hospital we use spect imaging which is like 3d. The cost is about $1700. The cost to the patient will depend on their insurance. Call your hospital and ask, since different imaging centers may have different prices.

Shop around: There is a large variation in costs between venues. A privately dr owned scanner is often cheaper, but call all available venues & ask then. We have a dr owned surgical hospital and everything is cheaper there.
