Depends: On which side of your foot and where at along the side. On the inside (medial aspect) of your foot in the middle, you may have plantar fasciitis. If it is on the outside middle of your foot, it could metatarsalgia or trauma. Do you run? I would need to know more about the place/quality of the pain to offer succinct thoughts. You may want to visit your primary doc for a physical exam of the foot.
