Bladder infection: Bladder infections can come on quickly. Recommendation is cranbury juice, preferably unsweetened for a few days. Hippuritic acid in cranberry juice works like a disinfectant. That may be enough to decrease the number of bacteria in your bladder to let your immune system finish it off. If things don't improve after a few days consider the doctor. This way, you may be able to avoid antibiotics.
