Probably OK: When starting hormonal contraception, ~30% of women will experience irregular or "break through bleeding" during the 1st three months. This usually improves with time. If you are taking your pills as prescribed you likely have nothing to worry about. If the bleeding persists, worsens or you have other symptoms such as pain fever or nausea, you should notify your doctor.
