Won't get sick: Air conditioning won't get your infant sick. A room temperature of 68-74 degrees in your air conditioning is fine. It is more about how you dress her that matters. Don't underdress or overdress. A newborn should wear the same amount of clothing you are wearing in whatever environment you are in and one light layer more. So if you are comfortable in a t-shirt, then a onsie and t-shirt are fine

Temperature is not: ...A factor here. Make the ac comfortable for you; dress the baby a little warmer if she seems cold.
