Yes: Of course there's no harm in taking a test. Usually they come in packs if 2 so maybe take one now and another at the time of your period if this one is negative.

Yes, early though: A test will turn positive about 14 days after you conceive. There might be some uncertainty about when you ovulated. You can check now and again when you expect your period.
