Tongue changes: Although i know of no direct link between a white tongue and elevated liver values, the tongue (as the eye) may show changes as a reflection of less than ideal health arising from systemic problems. There is a difference between a white coating on the tongue vs. The tongue appearing whiter such as in dehydration. This should be discussed with your md as well as evaluated by your dentist.
