Vascular occlusion: You have a branch retinal vein occlusion. This causes a stoppage of the circulation to the retina at the area of the blockage. You need to be evaluated for diabetes and high blood pressure. You need to see a retinal specialist (absolutely not an optometrist) for confirmation of the diagnosis and possible treatment as this can be very serious.

Vein blocked: A brvo is an obstruction of blood flow in a branch of the main retinal vein. It is somewhat unusual in a 32 year old male. You should be evaluated for diabete, hoigh blood pressure and various clotting disorders.
