Weak heart: Decrease in stroke volume means the heart muscle is not contracting as strongly as it should. This may result in thrombus formation and brain stroke. Check with your md on this.

Stroke volume: Stroke volume is related to the preload, after load and outflow resistance to the heart as well as the contractility of the heart muscle. Changes in any of the variables can affect the stroke volume. A decrease in stroke volume can have multiple possible causes.
