Can i drink a glass of red eine while taking zoloft (sertraline)?

Wine with Zoloft (sertraline): As a psychiatrist who works primarily with severely persistently mentally ill consumers statistically 70% of my patients are using illicit drugs or alcohol. If u want 1 glass of red wine (better for heart) a day then as i tell my patients i see no problem. That being said u need to share this decision with your treating professional so he/she is informed and kept in the loop. He/she may not agree.
