Why stomach flu associate with headache?

See below: Headaches are a general symptom of many viral illnesses, even stomach (GI) illnesses. This is due to the viral load triggering the general inflammatory response and with a stomach bug, if vomiting and diarrhea, could also be due to dehydration as well. Keep hydrated, and pain meds as needed.
