A member asked:

Is it ok for a baby's soft spot to be raised up?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Raised fontanelle: An opoen fontanelle that is usually flat and pulsatile may be slightly bulging when crying or when lying down. If it is bulging all the time consult your doctor who will have head circumference measurements. If your child is otherwise healthy and the head circumference is increasing normally, i would not worry.
