Are tick bites like pimples?

No, a tick bite: first appears as a small red spot, not necessarily raised. Sometimes there is no mark at all. If the tick had to be removed, there may be more of a raised mark. Then, if the tick causes Lyme disease, there may be a central clear area with a red ring around it.
