contamination: Cholera is a bacteria spread from infected feces via inadequate water treatment to new victims. It cannot occur with modern sewage treatment systems and isolation of known cases but is a disease of societal breakdown and inadequate sanitation.

Cholera: Cholera is spread when feces infected by Vibrio cholerae contaminates water or food. Inadequately cooked seafood can be a cause. It is most often seen in areas with poor sanitation & deficient water treatments.
