A member asked:

Whats better when u have a yeast imfection a pad or tampon?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A pad: A pad is better to use than a tampon when a woman has a yeast infection, especially if she is using a yeast cream to treat the infection. A tampon might somewhat block the vaginal cream from working. Since the vaginal tissue is inflamed with a yeast infection a tampon is likely to be more uncomfortable and irritating to wear.
