How can riding motorcycle affect the baby while pregnant?

Not recommended : Riding a motorcycle is not recommended while pregnant and especially not past first trimester. Once in the second trimester the uterus is above the pelvic girdle and no longer has bony protection. Any activity where a fall is a possibility like motorcycle riding, bike riding , skiing , snow boarding could have serious or fatal fetal consequences. A stationary bike is acceptable alternative.
