Honeymoon cystitis : It is not uncommon for young women to get a urinary tract infection following sexual intercourse. A person with "honeymoon cystitis", is often treated with prophylactic antibiotics, prior to or just after sexual intercourse, if more conservative prevention measures are ineffective.
