Brush dandruff: Salons soak their combs and brushes in a disinfectant called barbercide. Fill sink with hot soapy water. Use shampoo or body wash. Any type of liquid soap works well. Shampoos are a better choice since they are formulated to remove dandruff, dead skin cells, and hair product buildup.Leave hair utensils in the water all day. Every hour or so swish them around vigorously to help remove the dandruff.

Dandruff: Dandruff is a common scalp condition in which small pieces of dry skin flake off of the scalp. If you have dark hair or you’re wearing dark colors, you may notice the flakes in your hair or on your shoulders. Dandruff may also make your scalp itch. https://www.aad.org/public/skin-hair-nails/hair-care/how-to-treat-dandruff
