Yes: Corneal transplants are fairly routine and have been performed for literally over 100 years. Techniques have changed and there are a variety of types of corneal transplants but fortunately outcomes are good.

Yes: Corneal transplants do very well in general. They usually have very little rejection. It will depend on the cause of corneal damage. Keratoconus cases for example, rarely reject. Some burns or trauma cause ingrowth of blood vessels, are are more susceptible to rejection.
