No magic number: He can empty his bladder whenever he feels like it. Some men don't like to wait. How much urine he makes is a function of how much water etc he drinks. That's his choice. If there's no reason to suspect diabetes mellitus or insipidus or renal interstitial disease preventing concentration or a prostate problem causing dribbling, it's a non-problem.
