Depends on 1/2 life: Oxycodone is an opiate medication that has a 1/2 life of 3-4.5 hours. It take 5x the half life for a drug to be totally eliminated from your body. That being said if you do the math oxycodone will be out of your sytem in aproximately 15-22.5 hours.

It depends on type: Oxycodone comes in two varieties. Immediate release (ir) and controlled release (cr). Some companies mix oxycodone (usually the ir variety) with Acetaminophen and give it names such as percocet, endocet, tylox (oxycodone and acetaminophen). The ir is taken once per 4 -6 hours and can stay in your system for about a day but may be detected up to 72 hr later cr is taken every 12 hours and can stay in your system 3 -4 days.
