How does the moon affect women in menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Interesting thought: There are many studies linking human and other animal behavior to the lunar cycle. There are likely daily and monthly variations in melatonin production in addition to other hormones. In a study of 826 female volunteers with a normal menstrual cycle, aged between 16 and 25 years, a larger proportion of menstruations occurred around the "new moon". I have no idea how this might affect menopause.
