Infection: The two symptoms may or may not be related. Certainly, this needs to be evaluated. The differential diagnosis (possibilities) is vast (simple bacterial infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, unrelated GI issues, etc...).

Vaginal odor : You may have a bacterial infection called bv. This is usually caused when the vaginal pH changes either from douching, semen etc. The abdominal pain could be secondary to inflammation. Suggest being seen by pcp or gyn.
