Had craniotomy 1.5wks ago, have profuse sweating on n off then chills. sweating thru clothes, worse when sleeping. what is it? go to er?

Go to ED: With your history of a craniotomy in the last 2 weeks, and shaking/chills with profuse sweating, there is concern for infection. Call your dr who did the surgery and get into ed for eval if they do not answer asap. Best wishes.

Seek medical help: You should have this checked out. There is a concern for infection. This can be severe and can lead to meningitis. The er is a good place to start and they can run tests to better define this. You may need additional surgery to treat this. Check with your neurosurgeon also.
